Author Guidelines

Submitted manuscripts have to be meet the assigned standard and will be reviewed before those get into publication.

Guiding Principles
An acceptable manuscript will meet the following general criteria: it reports a worthwhile contribution to science, sound methodology used, clear and properly use theory and previous research in the discussion. Conclusions are supported by data and manuscripts is concise and well written.

In the preparation of the manuscript, a template to guide authors can be downloaded here (Template). 

Review Process
All manuscripts are reviewed by qualified reviewers and the editorial team. Feedback of submission will be made less than 1 week after submission and the decision of acceptence need less than 1 month after submission.   

Plagiarism Polilcy
Whether intentional or not, plagiarism is a serious violation. Plagiarism is the copying of ideas, text, data and other creative work (e.g. tables, figures and graphs) and presenting it as original research without proper citation. Any evidence of plagiarism found before/after acceptance or after publication of the paper will imply a chance for rebuttal.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if it is accepted for publication, copyright of the article shall be assigned to JEPA (Jurnal Ekonomi Pertanian dan Agribisnis), University of Brawijaya, Indonesia.

    The copyright transfer agreement and publishing ethical statement gives the Publisher the permission of the author(s) to publish the Work, and it empowers the Publisher to protect the Work against unauthorized use and to properly authorize dissemination of the Work by means of printed publications, offprints, reprints,electronic files, licensed photocopies, microform editions, translations, document delivery and secondary information sources such as abstracting, reviewing and indexing services, including converting the Work into machine readable form and storing it in electronic databases. It also gives the author(s) broad rights of fair use.

    The copyright transfer agreement and publishing ethical statement should be filled with respect to article and be signed originally and sent to the Editorial Office in the form of original mail, or scanned document file (softcopy). The form can be downloaded here.

  2. The submission file is in the form of OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. Typed at one side of white paper of A4 size, in single column, 1.5 space line, 11 point time new roman font. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring Blind Review have been followed
  7. Authors must read the submission preparation check list carefully and obey JEPA requirements
 

Copyright Notice

The copyright of the received article shall be assigned to the journal as the publisher of the journal. The intended copyright includes the right to publish the article in various forms (including reprints). The journal maintains the publishing rights to the published articles.

Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: 400000.00 (IDR)
If your manuscript is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication cost.
