Perilaku Wirausaha Pensiunan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit

Peningkatan populasi yang menua dapat menciptakan tantangan sosial dan ekonomi. Â Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan cara untuk meminimalisir permasalahan ini. Salah satu solusinya yaitu dengan meningkatkan kewirausahaan di kalangan pensiunan. Sayangnya tidak ada kebijakan jelas yang spesifik dan fokus untuk mendukung kewirausahaan pada penduduk di golongan usia pensiunan. Terlebih lagi di Indonesia, kewirausahaan pensiunan masih sangat jarang dibahas khususnya pada pensiunan perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit. Maka, penelitian ini pada dasarnya merupakan bagian kajian yang ingin mengidentifikasi motivasi, intensi, dan hambatan berwirausaha bagi pensiunan perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan November-Desember 2021 di PT. Indotruba Tengah, Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Responden dari penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang akan pensiun sebanyak 31 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif korelatif. Motivasi dan Intensi responden akan dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah selanjutnya untuk melihat hubungan keduanya akan digunakan uji chi square dengan SPSS. Sedangkan hambatan akan dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi untuk bewirausaha tergolong tinggi yakni sebanyak 87% responden masuk kategori tinggi. Intensi berwirausaha juga tergolong tinggi yakni sebanyak 81% responden masuk kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi-square diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan antara motivasi dengan intensi kewirausahaan. Sedangkan hambatan dengan frekuensi terbanyak yang dipilih oleh calon pensiunan untuk berwirausaha yaitu kurangnya modal untuk menciptakan usaha baru, kurangnya pelatihan atau penyuluhan akan kewirausahaan, dan kondisi kesehatan yang menurun.
