Dampak Produksi Beras Terhadap Kemiskinan Moderat: Ardl Bounds-Testing Approach

Abstract


Kemiskinan masih menjadi isu penting bagi Indonesia. Angka kemiskinan Indonesia merupakan yang tertinggi di Asia Tenggara. Konsumsi 82,95 juta orang masih berada di bawah garis kemiskinan moderat. Secara persentase, Indonesia hanya sedikit lebih baik dari Laos. Penelitian ini mencoba menginvestigasi pengaruh produksi beras terhadap kemiskinan moderat dengan mengkontrol variabel ekonomi makro, yaitu pendapatan pendapatan per kapita dan inflasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data tahunan dari publikasi World Bank dan Our World in Data, tahun 1981 – 2019. Teknis estimasi dilakukan menggunakan ARDL-Bound-Testing. Kointegrasi antara produksi beras, pendapatan per kapita, inflasi ditemukan terbukti ada. Hasil studi membuktikan bahwa produksi beras berdampak negatif pada kemiskinan moderat. Nilai elastisitas produksi beras dan kemiskinan dalam jangka pendek adalah 0,76, sedangkan dalam jangka panjang nilai 3 kali lebih besar (2,83). Temuan lainnya, inflasi berpengaruh positif, sedangkan pendapatan per kapita bukan alat utama untuk pengentasan kemiskinan. Studi ini menekankan bahwa meningkatkan produksi beras dan mengkontrol harga – harga tetap stabil merupakan alat untuk pengentasan kemiskinan moderat di Indonesia
